The youth of South Lanarkshire
Your voice matters at Early Navigation
We know that being a child, teenager, or young adult can be tough for lots of reasons. That’s why we want to hear from you, your ideas, your concerns, and your dreams.
You are the future of our community, and we’re here to listen, support, and help make things better wherever we can.
We’re here to help you succeed.
Whether you’re still in school, thinking about college or university, or starting to look for a job, Early Navigation is here to guide you.
Not everyone knows what career they want, and sometimes plans change, that is normal! If you’re feeling unsure or overwhelmed, we’ll help you figure out where you are now and what your next steps could be.
Experience isn’t everything.
We understand that some companies have a view that young people don’t have enough work experience, but we know you have the potential, skills and fresh ideas that matter and want to help you display these.
Through our support we can demonstrate to businesses what they may be missing out on by overlooking young people in our community.
What can you get involved in?

Youth’s Voice: Your Chance to Lead
At Early Navigation we believe your ideas and experiences matter. That’s why we always reserve a place on our committee for someone aged 16–24 from our community. This isn’t just a seat at the table, it’s a real opportunity to influence the programmes we run and how our funding is spent. If you join, you’ll help decide what programs we run, what support is offered, making sure your generation’s needs and ambitions are front and centre.
Step up, share your perspective, and help shape the future for yourself and your peers.
To find out more, drop an email with the title “Youth’s Voice” to earlynavigation@outlook.com showing your interest in becoming a member in our next committee review which takes place in the summer of 2026.
